Club Lacrosse

The Men's Club Lacrosse team at Sacred Heart will begin its 10th season as a club sport in the 2017-2018 academic year. The team is highly competitive making the NCLL tournament twice in the teams existance. The team is constantly ranked within the NCLL Top 20, reaching its highest ranking of #8 in 2013.

The team is a member of the National College Lacrosse League (NCLL) which consists of 132 teams throughout the country. We compete in the New England Conference at the Division 1 level, made up of Sacred Heart University, Fairfield University, UMASS Amherst, University of Vermont, and Holy Cross. SHU will play each of its conference opponents once throughout the Spring. The team with the best record in the Division at the end of the season will have an automatic qualifier to the NCLL Tournament. We will also play in many non-conference games on top of our rigorous conference schedule.
