Corey Dybas joined the club sports staff as a graduate assistant athletic trainer in the Fall of 2018. Corey received his Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from Sacred Heart University in 2018. As part of his clinical placements, he worked with Sacred Heart’s NCAA Division I women’s basketball and men’s lacrosse teams. He also gained experience with local high schools and physical therapy clinics. For two summers, he worked alongside the head Athletic Trainer for the PGCBL Amsterdam Mohawks baseball team in upstate New York. Currently, Corey is working towards his Master of Science degree in Exercise Science and Nutrition.
While an undergraduate student at SHU, he was a member of the club ice hockey team for 4 years. Corey received his athletic trainer certification in 2018. A native of Amsterdam, New York, Corey is a diehard Islanders fan. He will be working primarily with the club ice hockey B, men’s and women’s soccer, and women’s lacrosse club programs.
